What is Easier Now?
Easier Now is a to-do list app that schedules your tasks into your working day and shows you 1 at a time, the most valuable first. 14 days free, no card.
The problem
Death by a thousand cuts is the productivity killer.
4 small requests before lunch. 30 small things by 6pm.
The proposal, worth more than all 30, is still blank.
A real day
The same day, with Easier Now.
Pick the day closest to yours:
8:40am
Today is already planned: the proposal at 9, while you are sharp, then 2 calls, then the invoices.
9:05am
The proposal is the only task on screen, so you start it and stay on it until 10:30.
11:15am
Priya’s call leaves you 6 new tasks. You paste your notes in and Easier Now writes all 6.
2pm
A contract has to go out by 5pm. It goes to the top, the afternoon moves down 1 hour, and your 6:30pm gym time does not move.
6:20pm
You close the laptop. Easier Now tells you to leave for the gym in 10 minutes.
Friday
9 hours on the proposal, 4 on calls, 2 chasing invoices. The chasing costs you about £140 a month.
8:40am
Today is already planned: Halden’s campaign plan at 9, then the Moss & Co call, then the Brightside review.
9:05am
Halden’s plan is the only task on screen. The other 2 clients wait in the queue until 10:30.
11:15am
The Moss & Co call leaves you 6 new tasks. You paste your notes in and each task is filed under Moss & Co.
2pm
Brightside’s checkout breaks. The fix goes to the top, the afternoon moves down 1 hour, and 5-a-side at 6:45pm does not move.
6:05pm
You close the laptop. Easier Now tells you to leave for 5-a-side in 10 minutes.
Friday
Halden 11 hours, Moss & Co 6, Brightside 3. Halden’s retainer pays for 8, so you raise it on Monday.
8:40am
Today is already planned: the quarterly plan at 9, before the team meeting, then your 1-to-1 with Sam.
9:05am
The quarterly plan is the only task on screen. Status updates wait on the project page until you open it.
11:15am
The team meeting ends with 6 actions. You paste the notes in and hand 4 of the tasks to their owners.
2pm
Your manager needs headcount numbers by 5pm. They go to the top and the afternoon moves down 1 hour.
6:20pm
You close the laptop without chasing anyone. The project page shows Sam finished the onboarding emails at 4:10pm.
Friday
38 tasks done, 9 in progress, 3 waiting on someone outside the team. You know what to ask on Monday.
8:40am
Today is already planned: the brief that is due Thursday at 9, then standup, then the team’s drafts.
9:05am
The brief is the only task on screen. It has waited since last week, and by 10:30 it is half written.
11am
Standup ends with 6 requests from 3 people. You paste them in and Easier Now fits them around the brief.
2pm
Your manager needs the launch assets by 5pm. They go to the top and the afternoon moves down 1 hour.
6:20pm
You close the laptop. Tomorrow starts after your 8:30am dentist appointment, because that time is fixed.
Friday
12 hours on the brief, 7 on other people’s requests. When your manager asks why the brief took 3 days, you have the answer.
Your week
What changes by week 2.
- You know the day fits.
- You get properly into the work.
- The things you usually drop stop dropping.
- Your best hours go on your best work.
- Your evenings are yours again.
Why it sticks
You start believing your own plan again.
Other apps needed upkeep, so you stopped using them. Easier Now needs about 20 seconds a day.
How far each week ran over your plan
- Week 1 30h planned, 44h taken 14h over
- Week 2 36h planned, 39h taken 3h over
- Week 3 39h planned, 40h taken 1h over
- Week 4 40h planned, 40h 30m taken 30m over
Who built it
10 tasks a day became 24.
The extra 14 are the recurring tasks I used to lose: follow-ups, invoice chasing, the quarterly paperwork. Now each one is in front of me on the day it is due.
Catch-up mode
Falling behind? Catch-up mode works in seconds.
71 tasks waiting after a week away? Mark each one done, do it today, or skip it. All 71 take about 4 minutes.
Projects
Always know the answer to "when can you get that done by?"
Add a project and its tasks fill the free time in your weeks, so you can see whether Thursday the 14th works before you reply.
Teams
Hand it over and watch it move.
Give a task to someone and it moves to their list. The project page shows where every task has got to.
How it decides
It knows what each task is worth to you.
Easier Now knows how long each task takes, what happens if it is late, and what an hour of it is worth. You set that in 3 taps, or type the task in plain English.
- Urgency Red What goes wrong if this is late?
- Importance Blue Does this get me somewhere I want to go?
- Pay grade Green and yellow Should I be the one doing this?
- Priority star Purple Is this the one thing, today?
Also in the app
The rest of a working week.
- Routines Set a routine once. Miss one and it moves to the next day as 1 task.
- The Info tab Checkboxes in your notes become tasks. Tick actions during a call, then press + Task.
- Google Calendar Your meetings keep their times. 2-way sync. Tasks fit around your meetings.
- Moving across One CSV out of your old app. Todoist, Asana, Notion or any other app.

Compare the appsQuestions people ask before starting
I have abandoned every productivity app. Why would Easier Now be different?
Easier Now has nothing to maintain. There is no board to tidy, no weekly setup and no daily planning session. Miss a fortnight and you are handed the backlog one item at a time, with 3 buttons under each: skip it, do it today, or mark it done.
What if Easier Now does not work for me?
If this is your first subscription, ask us within 30 days of your first payment and we refund it. No form, and you do not have to tell us why.
What happens on day 15?
Your 14 days need no card, so nothing is charged when they end. On day 15 everything you put in is still there and you can still read all of it. What you cannot do is add or change things until you pick a plan. Which plan you need follows what you actually used: stay inside three projects and five routines and Starter covers you, go past that and it is Pro.
Is there an app for my phone?
Not yet. Easier Now is built for the desktop today, where the work gets done. It runs in your browser and installs to your dock or taskbar so it opens in its own window with its own icon. A phone version is being built and you can follow it on the roadmap.
How long does it take to set up?
About a minute. Easier Now asks your name, when you wake and sleep, your working hours, and whether to connect Google Calendar and send notifications. Routine templates are 1 tap each, so the things you repeat are in before you have finished reading this answer.
Put tonight's work in. Open it tomorrow to a planned day.
