On your desktop

Put Easier Now in your dock.

Easier Now is built for the desktop, where the work actually gets done. It runs in your browser, and you can install it to your dock or taskbar so it opens in its own window with its own icon. There is nothing to download and no app store to go through.

Two clicks

How to install it.

  • Windows In Chrome, open the three-dot menu, then Cast, save and share, then Install page as app. Edge and Firefox have the same option in their own menus. It goes into your Start menu and taskbar like any other program.
  • Mac In Chrome, open the three-dot menu, then Cast, save and share, then Install page as app. In Safari, choose File then Add to Dock. Safari needs macOS Sonoma or newer. Firefox on Mac cannot do this yet.

What you get out of it

No store, no download, no update.

The thing people expect to lose by not having a native app turns out to be the thing worth losing.

  • Nothing to download No app store, no installer, no waiting.
  • Never out of date It loads the live app every time, so there is no update to install and no old version to get stuck on.
  • Opens like an app Its own icon, its own window, no browser tabs around it.
